I am one of the Plone release managers. I focus on Python backend work, including a bit more than wanted on Python packaging issues (Buildout, setuptools, namespace packages). I live in Belgium with wife and two kids. The youngest actually has his birthday during the conference. I work as freelancer in my own company, Py76.

I will talk about the Python backend of Plone. Mostly this will be about what are we working on for Plone 6.2, when a release can be expected, what are future plans. This will include a bit of Classic UI, as this is currently still tied into the Plone backend. And I will talk for a good bit about namespaces and related Python packaging problems, as I have had 'fun' in that area this year.
