Several airlines fly to Finland, for example, to Helsinki and Tampere. Connecting flights from Helsinki to Jyväskylä airport take an hour, and regular train and bus services complement the schedule. Transfers from the airport to train and bus stations are smooth with local transportation. The largest city in the region is Jyväskylä.
