Mack Palomäki is the founder of Ljusa Tider AB and a consultant with Vilax AB, helping teams ship precise, culturally appropriate UI copy and translations for Plone and Volto. His current work blends gettext/ICU standards with AI-assisted workflows to produce consistent .pot/.po catalogs and living documentation.

Earlier, Mack contributed to Nordic (NR-MSK) and international standards in satellite communications, GSM, and mobile Internet. He has led products and organizations across Europe and Asia—CEO of Lohmac (mobile payments, RFID with Sony), Managing Director at AU-System Singapore (partnered with Ericsson on AIS Mobile Life, Thailand), and co-founder of InVitro Vista (medical diagnostics).

A long-time speaker, trainer, and evangelist, he focuses on turning complex infrastructure and localization challenges into clear, reproducible practices. Mack is based in Sweden.
