While working on multiple Plone 4 to 6 migrations we came across a few problems with the existing collective.exportimport workflow. So Érico came up with a new tech stack for Plone migrations. Still using c.exportimport as a base we extended the stack with the new packages of plone.exportimport, collective.transmute and collective.html2blocks.

These are aimed to increase the flexibility, speed and quality for all different kinds Plone migrations, by being highly and easily customisable.

In our talk we will layout of this new stack by using one of our real live projects as an example and showing step by step how to do Plone migrations in 2025.
